Cooma Library provides a free home delivery service to Cooma residents unable to visit one of our branches in person. The Home Library Service is provided to eligible individuals who are housebound.
Who is eligible to receive the Home Library Service?
Cooma residents who are housebound and:
- Have difficulty visiting the Library because of illness, frailty or disability (temporary or permanent) or
- Are caring full-time for someone who is confined to their home by illness, frailty or disability
What can Home Library Service clients borrow?
The Cooma Library can offer a wide range of library materials including:
- Wide range of popular fiction books and genres
- Large print or ordinary print sizes Non-fiction subjects such as biographies, gardening, health or craft
- Talking books (cassette, CD)
- DVDs and videos
- Music CDs
- Magazines
- Materials in a range of community languages
