Simultaneous storytime is organised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). It’s a fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy. Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously around Australia in bookshops, libraries, primary schools, pre-schools and many other venues.
This year, reading takes place on Wednesday 23 May, at 11 am.
